Knighthood
(membership)
Historically, knights were known as men who fought to defend king and country in the Middle Ages.
Additionally, the term knight conjures up images of Camelot, and men in armor jousting. Today, the idea of a modern knight is less about orders, titles and defending country and crown. Rather, the concept of knighthood is about moral conduct. Today, fraternal organizations refer to their members as knights, while monarchs still award knighthood to individuals recognized for service to their country. Those knighted by the British monarchy tend to receive the most attention.
Come join and become a member of an organization that holds an induction ritual or ceremony, in which you can become a knight. Our Order/Society, which preserves the traditions of knighthood in modern society, while building a fraternal group of like-minded members, and organizes and provides short-term volunteers to the local communities through community-led groups and non-profits.
You may Petition for membership in our organization if you wish to join. Our group has its own policy and guidelines about accepting new members in which we will discuss with you and will require some character/background investigation and a fee to join.
Once you have joined, you will be asked to take part a probation period, once the probation period has expired, then a vote will be cast amongst the leaders of the organization on your retention. Then our group will hold a traditional ceremony which will include an Ascension ritual.

LETTER FROM OUR FOUNDER

When you associate with a fraternity such as Baron’s Organization International’s Canadian Order of Knight’s aka BOI you are not just meeting new friends or acquiring a place to hang out. It's much more than that. From its inception in October 1988, members have found that they become part of a family unit developing a unique, private bond based on intangible, invisible principles. Making friends for a lifetime.
Being part of the Baron's is not comparable in my point of view, to another service club or club's; it is a family of choice, pure and simple. However, to know of its existence is one thing, to experience the brotherhood/sisterhood of fraternal membership is another. It is a oneness, which transcends all cultural, racial, economic, orientation, and ideological differences and overlooks petty disagreements and selfishness. Brotherhood/sisterhood-based networking is the essence of the members life and allows them to grow as a member and individual.
BOI life offers the opportunity to participate in sports, games, parties, meetups, and other events in which help strengthen our bonds.
Besides offering an opportunity to meet new people and to do new things, BOI also provides the opportunity for it's members to develop skills through sponsored workshops and lectures, which range in subject matter from First Aid, Security training, to alcohol awareness, to the development of interpersonal skills.
Now looking back at BOI the early days up to present day, we have made a huge impact in our members lives and in the community. BOI helps build community relations, by providing short term volunteers to and liaisons with Charities, Non-Profits, community groups, business, and local governments.
Come join us today. You won't regret it.
